Men’s Platform Tennis

Men’s Platform Tennis at SLT&CC is a robust, raucous affair epitomized by the committed, enthusiastic players who can’t seem to get enough of the sport. The season is packed with league play, tournaments, open play nights and events that combine competitive play on the courts with just as much as fun off the court.


League Play

New Jersey Men's Platform Tennis Association

SLT&CC Men fields four "Shore" teams in the New Jersey Men's Platform Tennis Association (NJMPTA) in conjuntion with Rumson Country Club and Navesink Country Club. THe league includes over 125 teams from approximately 43 clubs sitewide. The Shore teams play in Divisions A, B, E and J.

Men's Shore League

SLT&CC also fields a team in the Shore League which runs from Jan-Mar each year. The league includes teams from Navesink Country Club, Rumson Country Clun, Bay Head Yacht Club and The Atlantic Club.

Social Events and Tournaments

SLT&CC Men’s tournaments include our Member-Guest, Member-Member and Tri-Club, played with Rumson Country Club and Navesink Country Club. The Chicken Wire and Bauer Cup tournaments are invitationals. There are men’s Open Play evenings on Thursdays from 7PM-10PM. Players of all levels are encouraged to give this wonderful sport a try or work on their game. The Bullseye provides the perfect place to watch the action on the paddle courts and games on TV when not playing.
