PLATFORM TENNIS

SLT&CC has four platform tennis courts and a beautiful, new paddle hut - The Bullseye. Completed in the fall of 2018, the Bullseye is a wonderful venue for sharing food and drinks after play and for hosting club social events. The clubhouse features two walls of windows with views of the courts. The building has a Sonos music system, a large screen television with FIOS, a gas fireplace, oversized restroom, kitchen facilities and an outdoor grill. Our courts have also been recently refurbished including the installation of state-of-the-art lighting.
 

General Information

The Platform Tennis season runs from October 1 through March 31, but the courts are available all year and are open from 9AM to 10PM. Members reserve courts in advance of play and The Bullseye can be booked by members for private events. Guests are welcome and must be accompanied by a member. SLT&CC extends reciprocal privileges to members of Rumson Country Club and Navesink Country Club. Our year-round Director of Racquets is available for private and group lessons.  

The platform tennis calendar features tournaments, events, and clinics for Women and Men as well as Mixed Doubles, Family and Junior play. The season opens with our Octoberfest Celebration, followed by a Thanksgiving Filial Tournament, an Ugly Holiday Sweater Party, and more. Annual traditions include the NARUMSEAL, a mixed doubles tournament with players from SLT&CC, Navesink Country Club, Rumson Country Club and Deal Golf & Country Club. The 2019-20 season featured the club’s first and hugely popular Mixed Doubles Tournament.
